English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The festivities on teh occasion of the 360 years existence of teh Leiden University is celebrated during the day with a.o. a parade of reunion participants and Senates of Student Corpses. In the evening a historical parade depicting the entry of the Chambers of rhetoric in leiden. SHOTS: - parade, with a militairy band on horses in the front: first several old and young men, some in distinguished suites and top hats, carrying several banners. Then come several historical figures: on foot, on a donkey, in carriages, total 1'09"; - parade, filmed in the evening with the help of floodlights: several historical figures on foot and on horses in the inner city of Leiden 29".
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
De feestelijkheden tgv het 360-jarig bestaan der Leidse Universiteit worden overdag oa gevierd met een optocht van reünisten en Senaten van Studenten Corpora en s'avonds met een historische optocht voorstellende de intocht der Rederijkerskamers in Leiden. SHOTS: -optocht, met militair muziekkorps te paard voorop: eerst div. oude en jonge mannen, sommigen in deftig pak met hoge hoed, waarbij meegedragen worden div. vaandels, daarna div. historische figuren: te voet, op een ezel, in rijtuigen, totaal 1'09"; -optocht, s'avonds gefilmd mbv schijnwerpers: div. historische figuren te voet en te paard in binnenstad Leiden 29". |
