Summary[edit]

Description
English: A 1941 Morris Z Type 2 (reg. GGY 110) panel van, pictured at the end of the 2012 HCVS Tyne-Tees Run, just a month after the completion of its restoration. It's believed to be just one of two surviving Morris Type-2 vans, out of a production run of just 146. Originally a Post Office van, it had apparently lay unused in a poulty farm barn near Edinburgh since it was last used, believed to be 1962 based on its tax disc. Re-discovered in 2009 when the farm was sold, it's been restored by Gardiner's Coach Repairs of Spennymoor, County Durham. They painted in the livery of bus company Economic, as their maintenance department vehicle, to match a 1949 Albion Valiant bus (reg. KUP 789) previously restored by the company (and also present at the rally).
