English: A CWGC gravestone for Sergeant Bruce Wilson-North, Flying officer, RAF, in the southwest of the churchyard of All Saints' parish church in the village of Walcott, Norfolk. Wilson-North was the son of Will and Florence Wilson-North of Walcott. He was killed on the 26 November 1940 at the age of 19. He was the wireless operator and air gunner aboard a Bristol Blenheim IV No. R2792 which while on a training exercise ran into bad weather and crashed into woods at High Lodge near Eriswell, 11 miles northwest of Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. |
