Description
English: A memorial plaque to John Kemp set into the east wall of the chancel inside Saint Mary's parish church which is located in the village of Antingham, Norfolk, England. The inscription in reads Here resteth the body of John Kemp, Esq. second son of Robert Kemp of Gissing, Esq. who had issue by Anne, daughter of Robert Cuddon, Esq. Robert, his son and heir, who erected this monument, and died November 18, 1610. Robert, who lived in Cromer, acquired property in and around Antingham vie his first wife Ann Calthorpe. John bequeathed in his will, sums to the poor and reparation of the churches at North Walsham, Worsted, Fritton, and Antingham. He is buried in the churchyard of Saint Mary's.
