최근 5년간 年 50% 이상 성장

중국의 택배산업이 급속한 성장을 달리고 있습니다.

한국무역협회가 발표한 ‘중국의 택배시장 발전 동향 및 시사점’에 따르면 2011년 1인당 2.7건에 불과했던 택배이용 건수는 2016년 22.6건으로 8배 이상 증가했습니다.

이는 최근 5년간 연평균 53.5%씩 성장한 셈입니다.

올해 중국의 택배시장 규모는 5165억 위안(한화 87조9000억원)으로 확대돼 하루 평균 1억1600만건의 택배수요가 발생할 것으로 전망됩니다.

한편 중국의 택배산업은 과거 단순 노동력 위주에서 드론, 로봇, 빅데이터를 접목한 최첨단 서비스로 진화하고 있습니다.

한국무역협회 심윤섭 차장은 “중국의 택배산업은 첨단기술을 활용해 생산성 향상을 꾀하고 있으며 중국의 소비와 경제 활성화에 기여하고 있다”고 밝혔습니다.
