Русский: Эта коловратка является хищником и питается мелкими простейшими. Ротовая воронка разделена на две части, верхняя - трокус, нижняя - вестибулум, которые разделены закрывающейся заслонкой. Поверхность трокуса устелена ресничками которые создают поток воды и затягивают добычу также там находятся сенсорные реснички. Когда жертва попадает в трокус она задевает сенсорные реснички, животное сжимает трокус, добыча вдавливается в вестибулум заслонка между трокусом и вестибулумом закрывается и простейшее проталкивается в пищевод а затем в желудок
English: This rotifer is a predator and feeds on small protozoa. The mouth funnel is divided into two parts, upper - the trochus, lower - vestibulum, which are separated by a closing flap. The surface of the trochus is lined with cilia that create a stream of water and tighten the prey, and there are also sensory cilia. When the victim enters the trochus, it touches the sensory cilia, the animal squeezes the trochus, the prey is pressed into the vestibulum, the flap between the trochus and the vestibulum closes and the protozoan is pushed into the esophagus and then into the stomach English: Rotifer Collotheca ornata feeds on ciliates |
