English: 'Good-Bye Sweetheart'

Print entitled 'Good-Bye Sweetheart' after a painting by Julius Mendes Price R.A. exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1902. It was published in Cassell's Magazine in 1902.

Julius M. Price was war correspondent to the 'Illustrated London News' during the Bechuanaland expedition (1884). He subsequently participated to an expedition for the opening up of the Nordenskiöld route to the interior of Siberia, and then traversed Siberia, Mongolia, and the Godi desert unaccompanied. He has also crossed western Australia and the Klondike (Canada). He wrote several travel books 'From the Arctic Ocean to the Yellow Sea' (1892) and 'From Euston to Klondike (1898), which were also illustrated by him. His work has been exhibited at the Paris Salon and the Royal Academy.
