The skip button jumps

  1. The skip button has to be always on the same position, no matter of the pictures proportions! The best place is above the picture. Thats an ergonomic question and saves time. May be there are two buttons with the same function, above and below.
  2. Its easier to handle, if you see the description of the picture (on the right site?)

Personal feedback

Cool feature!

  • it would be nice to merge manual adding of the tags with automatic selection. e.g. I got this image and automatic tag didn't come with the cross. So it would be great to have the opportunity to add it in this stage manualy
  • Are you sure, you don't want to elaborate this technology more. E.g. for this image it does not provide a specific item for Buckingham palace, even we have it in the filename.
  • will we provide any data to Google, that they can improve their intelligence?
  • would it be possible to move in front and back by using keyboard arrows?
  • the AI sometimes surprises, but very often I would not choose one of the tags. I think we need to provide images and train our/their AI better and/or mix it with some text recognition - often the file has the subject of depiction in filename or description and also you can retrieve a lot of valuable information from the coordinates.
  • I got the error message "Something went wrong and the tags cannot be...Please try again later" multiple times. Web-version FF.
  • I am getting system messages and tags in three languages. Would it be possible in the beginning to provide links to the sites, it could be translated?--Juandev (talk) 01:46, 15 November 2019 (UTC)

Your questions

web version, FF

  • Do Popular images appear for you? - yes
  • Do tags change states from suggested to checked tags? - yes
  • Do they publish/ buttons work properly? - yes, but sometimes it won't safe (see above)
  • If you uploaded any images, do they appear for you in the popular images tab? - not tested yet
  • Can you X out of the confirm tags dialog? -yes
  • Does the skip button work? -yes
  • Are any suggested tags confusing, surprising, or inaccurate? - the confusion may arise at the moment I don't know to which wd value the tag will be translated. Surprising are tags like "home". --Juandev (talk) 01:46, 15 November 2019 (UTC)

JonRichfield feedback

I applaud this project and am willing to continue supporting it with my tags, but I am frequently frustrated by my apparent inability to add tags that do not appear on some internal data base. (eg, this afternoon, "sawfly" as an insect name was rejected. I did successfully use the family name "Tenthredinidae" but I don't think that is enough). Also, some tags are arguable. "Anatomy" apparently only applies to internal anatomy, whereas where I wanted to use the term for a tag, my requirement was for external anatomy. Is there a protocol for adding or editing tag terms, or for using non-existent tags that the authorities subsequently might decide either to reject or accept? Disable notifications for overwrites

I have uploaded a large number of files recently, all of which are larger versions that overwrite existing images. I keep getting "Suggested tags are ready for review" notifications, and when I click through, it takes me to a page "You've tagged all your uploads!" This isn't helpful.-Ich (talk) 15:45, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

Notification when there are tags to be added

I keep getting prompts (red bell) to provide tags for new uploads only to find there are none to do -- but the page on which tagging would be done states that I have four personal uploads to tag. It's been doing this since this feature was started. SCHolar44 (talk) 06:32, 22 February 2022 (UTC)

streamline interface

e.g. the "OK" and "publish" buttons are located nearly on opposite sides of the screen most of the time. --17:48, 29 February 2020 Chewzy

Manually choose selection of images to run the tool with

I can imagine wanting to run the tool on images of a specific category. But currently you can't select that ♦♦♦thibaultmol♦♦♦ (talk) 14:17, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

Proposed categories

My biggest frustration is being unable to add tags that I know, but are not not recognised. I would love have a button for a proposed tag that either could be added to the accepted list of categories, or rejected if the powers that be think it is unjustified. Proposed Categories II

Why does the tool suggest heaps of tags it thinks it recognizes in the image but nothing that comes from the image description, the categories already assigned or the file name? If I have already indicated in the image description and in the categories what can be seen in the image, could this be taken as a suggestion? Superbass (talk) 13:11, 15 October 2022 (UTC)

Existing tags

Why should I enter tags even though they already exist? -- F. Riedelio • 💬 11:20, 17 December 2022 (UTC)
