Multi language support[edit]

When templates are still to be used, how will they provide multi language support and be bi-directional as well? The unique selling point of Wikidatafication is that it enables ALL our languages. Thanks, GerardM (talk) 05:40, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

Categories as they currently exist are English only. The content of much of those categories exist to describe the media files that are included. So while I understand that SOME categories make sense to have, they are essentially old constructs that will be replaced over time by queries that are able to provide the information in any language. As it is in Wikipedia a similar thing is true .. This query shows currently 1366 categories. When you click the Reasonator icon, you will find what Wikidata suggests could be the content of that category based on Wikidata content.

The point is very much that you want to maintain ONLY in one place and, in time that is NOT the category. Thanks, GerardM (talk) 05:46, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
