@Jarekt: Don't know if this matters, but the original upload date on one of these was in March. It was then reuploaded in May. Since the newer file is actually lower quality than the original, I suspect this was a simple error, but perhaps it affects the outcome. — Rhododendrites talk | 01:09, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
- User:Rhododendrites, I do not think we have a policy for someone reuploading already uploaded image under new name with some color changes. All it says is "Photographs must be newly uploaded to Commons during the challenge submission period". I know I occasionally dug out another similar shot to already uploaded image to enter it in the challenge. I agree that reuploads are against the spirit of that law, even if not against the letter of the law. Maybe that is something we want to clarify and rephrase. However such a change should be first discussed and approved at Commons talk:Photo challenge.I would vote for such change. --Jarekt (talk) 02:57, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
