I hope we will also link to User:Pfctdayelise/Commons:License compliance, once it has been moved into the commons namespace.

I agree that commons needs to be more userfriendly. I tend to think it should be designed with two distinct audiences in mind: those coming from a wikimedia project, and just random web browsers. They obviously have different need-to-know levels.

I think the proposal is excellent. We contributors tend to form everything to our own liking, but the front page should be for users, not contributors. Harald Hansen 13:10, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
