Violation of licence terms?

I was just noticing that the images don't attribute the author on google earth, and that this could be considered a violation of terms for any CC-BY images and the like. Is it possible to add this in? Have tpo say though, it's a great addition. -mattbuck (Talk) 23:06, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

I don't think the lack of author is any more a violation than thumbnails on wikipedia are. If you click on this "Details for this image on Commons" it pops up a little browser direct to the image. Just like it would if you clicked a thumbnail on wikipedia. --ShakataGaNai ^{^_^} 23:31, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Good point, my bad. I blame wikipedia - THEY MUST ALL DIE!!

Replication lag

I think there is a very long replication lag for this service. Even the image geocoded in the last year are not appearing in the map. :( --Harshanh (talk) 04:52, 18 August 2014 (UTC)
