Deletion requests-I have approval![edit]

The videos were chosen by me to illustrate articles about dancing. When I saw them, they were lacking both information and samples. On Boogie-Woogie page i saw that dancers wrote that the did not give their approval and asked to delete video. So 1) I knew Russian champions who also made it to World Listing (!) - it has more encyclopedic significance. 2)I agree that rights belong to dancers as well whether or not they agree to show the video 3) I asked all the dancers (both Gavrilovy and Ishimov) about their agreement, the dancers gave their agreement and I confirmed this them which videos they like, and which they would not like to be published 4) I also asked the MXDC organizers and Tantsclub owners - and got their approval. There is no infrigment of rights, I have all of the approvals. And videos are very characteristic and have historic meaning to people who are dancing Boogie-Woogie, lindy hop and other swing dances PirateDen (talk) 10:00, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You eather should remove soundtrack or get permission from songs copyrights owners. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 13:52, 31 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Dance cannot be shown without music and in dance videos 80% of authors right belongs to choreograhers/dancer and not to song owners. It is not for commercial use - and it seems strange to ask song owners for permission for the song which already sounded and was recorded during official event dance in World competitions. And again for non-commercial purposes.
  • Also - there are other dance videos in Wikipedia [[Файл:Линди-хоп.webm|300px|мини|справа|Линди-хоп в Екатеринбурге (исполнители Андрей Шестаков и Алена Курбанова, 23 июля 2017 года)]] - il also contains music - and no one has any problem with "dance with music video". And it is impossible to show what the dance is without music - it immediately lacks understanding why these strange movements are made.PirateDen (talk) 09:21, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • One of the other moderators told me that the the creators Tantsclass, MXDC should send their agreement by email. I asked them yesterday and they will do it. It also correlates with what I saw before- agreement comes either from creator (who recorded) or from content maker (dancers). Here in Wikipedia all videos uploaded by creators with song and dance are okay.
  • So I asked creator (Tantsclass, MXDC) for official email with permission and where impossible I asked the content makers for official email with permission (our dancers who made it to top-5 in world boogie-wogie best dancers list).
  • It is very important that when you see dance page - you could understand what it is like, how it is danced. It is not commpercial but If you ever danced boogie-woogie or lindy hop -you would understand that it is a very cool thing and it is good if it could be possible to see it. I cannot use 1st place world champions because I do not have any contact with creators (who recorded) and content makers (dancers). But at lest I have these 2 contacts - So al least it would give a little bit of understanding what this dance really is about.PirateDen (talk) 09:38, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

copy of agreement from owners of video[edit]

I asked content owners - the dancers on the video for their agreement and they gave their consent to 4 videos, including this one. Also as @4nn1l2 kindly recommended I asked to send the statement of permission to OTRS. I enclose the copy.

Later today I'll add copy of agreement from owner of other videos as creator. He told me yesterday that he'll send his consent to OTRS.
