Nouvelle loi[edit]

Anglais

Hello @DarwIn, @Aymatth2. Hello everyone

I noticed that the document on Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Guinea is based on the law of August 9, 1980 to be kept on WIPO. I looked for and found the one I am currently rereading, the new law adopted on July 6, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. by the National Assembly and promulgated by decree of the President of the Republic on July 26, 2019.

I am not too familiar with the laws, so I invite you to read and make the necessary modifications to the Wikimedia Commons rights in relation to the Republic of Guinea.

As such, I invite you to associate us with any changes that you will discover of this law to know how to inform our community about the new provisions.Especially help to highlight the difference, if there is any between the old law to repeal and this new law to adopt.

Cordially

Cordialement

It turns out that the copyright term may have been shortened to 70 years from 80 years, but they did an incorrect translation of the word of the number to numbers! Maybe we should have to contant the government of Guinea if the copyright term is 70 or 80 years
