We are working hard to make your participation in the contest simple and enjoyable. If you have any questions or problems when following any step, or if you do not understand something, please let us know!

1. Look for ZEOs near where you live, or where you will travel next.
2. Photograph the ZEOs! Be creative! Explore the inside of the monuments that you are able to, and also photograph them from inside!
3. Look for photos of monuments that you already had before (from previous trips, for example).

1. Create an account on Wikimedia Commons.
2. Submit the photos to Wikimedia Commons. Remember to add its ZEO-code to each one.
3. Keep taking photos! You can upload photos throughout the month!

Uploading photos to Wikimedia Commons

If you have any problem uploading your photos following this tutorial, please let us know!

1. Make sure you have logged in to Wikimedia Commons with your username. If you do not have it started, click on the button "Log in" that appears in the upper right corner to do so. You can also login by clicking here.

1. Access the Upload Wizard Assistant of Vikio Amas ZEOjn (click here).
2. Click on the "Select multimedia files to share" button. A window will open in which you will have to select the image you want to upload. You can select several images at once.

1. Once you have selected the image, the upload of the file will start automatically. A green checkmark will appear on the right side when the upload has finished. If you want to upload more images at once, click on "Add more files".
2. When all your images have been uploaded, click on "Continue".

1. In the next window you will release your files under CC BY-SA license (information here). You will notice that your username is written in a box; If you wish, write your full name there (if not, leave your username). Click on "Next"
2. Write the information of the images that you uploaded. Give each one a name (the more descriptive the better), a description and the corresponding ZEO-code (the codes are in the lists). Try to put descriptive and unique names to the images, to avoid problems with existing names (for example: it is easy that the file "Monument.jpg" already exists, so that name will cause problems, it is much better to put something like "Monument to Klara Zamenhof 2017-01-01"). When you finish, click on "Next".

1. Wait for the file to finish, and that's it! A thank-you page will appear indicating that the process was successful. If an error appears in any photo, it is probably because the name of the image already existed (see previous step).
