National Prize

The following prizes will be sent to the winners of the national competition. For more details, read FAQ

• 1st Prize - 15,000 worth gift voucher + 1 T-shirt + 1 SWAG material + 1 digital certificate
• 2nd Prize - 11,000 worth gift voucher + 1 T-shirt + 1 SWAG material + 1 digital certificate
• 3rd Prize - 8,000 worth gift voucher + 1 T-shirt + 1 SWAG material + 1 digital certificate
• 4th to 10th Prize - 4,000 worth gift voucher + 1 T-shirt + 1 SWAG material + 1 digital certificate (each)

Special prizes

• Highest number of uploads - Photographer who will upload highest number of eligible images will get 2,000 worth gift voucher
• Winning photograph from West Bengal - If a photograph of an monument located in West Bengal gets into top 10 of the national contest, the photographer will get 1,000 worth gift voucher. If more than one picture of monuments situated in West Bengal, gets into top 10, the person, who has secured higher rank will get the prize.

Process of receiving the national awards

Please Note: There might be possibilities of delay to send physical prizes to the address of the winners due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences.

1. When the national jury review process will end, the winners along with their winning photographs will be declared here publicly.
2. The ten winning photographs will be sent for international competition, which will compete with photographs from all over the world.
3. Simultaneously, messages will be sent to the winners in their e-mail addresses and talk pages.
4. The organizers will request them to share their addresses and contact details within a fixed deadline, so that the process of sending national prizes can be initiated.
5. If the deadline is missed by any of the winners for whatsoever reason, the organizers will have the right to refuse sending the prizes.
6. After the winners receive their awards, the contact details will be deleted forever as per Privacy policy.

International Prize

The following prizes will be sent to the winners of the international competition by the international team.

• 1st Prize - Up to € 2000 in in-kind prize + 1 certificate
• 2nd Prize - Up to € 1500 in in-kind prize + 1 certificate
• 3rd Prize - Up to € 1200 in in-kind prize + 1 certificate
• 4th Prize - Up to € 900 in in-kind prize + 1 certificate
• 5th Prize - Up to € 600 in in-kind prize + 1 certificate
• 6th Prize - Up to € 600 in in-kind prize + 1 certificate
• 7th Prize - Up to € 500 in in-kind prize + 1 certificate
• 8th Prize - Up to € 400 in in-kind prize + 1 certificate
• 9th Prize - Up to € 300 in in-kind prize + 1 certificate
• 10th Prize - Up to € 300 in in-kind prize + 1 certificate
• 11th to 15th Prize - 1 certificate

This amount can be used for an editing or photography related prize or a donation to a Wikimedia compatible cause. The prize is selected by the winner and coordinators jointly. The winner will be able to propose the exact prize and vendor, pending approval by the prize coordinator (considering convenience, accounting and scope reasons). The value of the prize includes any customs or taxes that may need to be paid at the time of purchase to deliver the prize to the recipient. Any additional (customs) charges that are due later will be the responsibility of the recipient.
