General rules
- All photos participating in the competition should be self-taken and self-uploaded;
- Upload is possible in September only (extraordinary cases will be evaluated individually), to Wikimedia Commons or Flickr;
- The default licence is Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 (CC-BY-SA 3.0);
- All eligible pictures should have an identifier, given by the participants during upload;
- Participants should have their e-mail enabled on Wikimedia Commons (or the platform they uploaded their photos to) to be eligible for prizes;
- Every country is able to nominate 10 pictures to the international stage of the competition.

Who can participate?
No limitation about identity, anyone is free to join.
How to participate?
- Participants should register a user account on Wikimedia Commons.
- Participants should use the upload interface provided by this contest to upload images.
- The title of uploaded images should include monuments' name.
- The object in the images participating the contest should be included in the list of photography reference.
- There is no limitation of numbers a participant uploads.
How to judge?
The jury will be designate by Wikimedia Taiwan.
What are the awards?
- There will be top 10 lists, no rank the the top 10, and these images will get into the second stage of the global contest.
- Apart from the top 10, the jury will also select some of the high-quality works and to provide digital badges on Wiki Commons to honor the winners.
- One participant can get awards more then one. However, due to encourage to participate, the basic principle is to make various of winners.
