Wiki Loves Monuments 2017 in Slovakia is a worldwide photo contest for monuments and cultural heritage buildings. Wikimedia SK started the first round of Wiki Loves Monuments in 2012. This year marks the sixth time for the international competition in Slovakia with the support of the Monuments Board of the Slovak Republic.
Everyone is welcome to get involved, whether as a participant (photographer).
The Jury will evaluate these criteria:
- The technical and aesthetic quality of the photos
- The original composition of the photos
- The encyclopedic value for Wikipedia
How to take part:[edit]
- Take pictures of recognized monuments from the list.
- Upload them to Commons using the special upload wizard before 30 September 2017.
