Description |
Ski jumping in Hampstead Heath in London, England in March 1950. A 60 ft (18 metre) high scaffold (hill, tower) was set up, and 45 tons of snow and 25 ski jumpers were sent from Norway to England. On Friday 24 March 18 000 spectators attended the ski jumping competition, on Saturday 25 March a total of 52 000 spectators attended the two competitions that day.
