Saint Proculus, supposed to be escaping from Verona on a kind of swing, romanesque frescoe, 7th (to 9th) century, southern wall. Noteworthy is the grip of the hands, they are in front of the rope.
So called procession of the cattle, romanesque frescoe, 7th (to 9th) century, southern wall. Notable is the distorted perspective, the cattle in the background are taller than the cattle in front.

Description
Church St. Proculus, Naturns, with frescoes and paintings. The romanesque frescoes are probably the oldest frescoes in german-speaking areas. The age of the frescoes is still under discussion, but in newer literature they are in general dated in the 7th century.
