  • I'm afraid we need an help (George's advice?): a 1954 statue + no FoP in Ukraine....I have doubts.... Let's discuss--Jebulon (talk) 20:04, 1 November 2013 (UTC)  Comment 1. Interesting... But what about Italy, Greece or France and no FoP in these countries? 2. There was a contest Wiki Loves Monuments in Ukraine. 3. Look here Category:Valued images of Ukraine. There are images of cultural heritage monuments also:) Halavar (talk) 20:31, 1 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
    • Answer: 1)-NoFoP in France, Italy, Greece, is a real nightmare, and I know very well what I'm talking about (several pictures of mine were deleted). It is simple: it is not possible to maintain in "Commons" works protected by this kind of copyright. 2)-There was a WLM contest in France in 2013 too: no pictures under this kind of copyright were allowed. 3)-In France, we have many and many cultural heritage monuments too, but not compatible with "Commons" because of this copyright (like buildings by Le Corbusier, for instance). Sorry. But I don't know if this model of the statue of Lenin is protected in Ukraine. The sculptor of the original model must be dead since before 1943...--Jebulon (talk) 15:06, 3 November 2013 (UTC)  Comment The creator of this statue is Пётр Петрович Яцы́но (1906—1964). So you tell me, that not only mine image, but all images of this statue, and almost all of statues of Lenin in former CCCP (they were build after the end of WWII) should be deleted? If so, why they are exist on Commons?? There are thousands of images statues of Lenin on Commons, but Admins don't delete them. Why? 2. What about this image File:Lenin Mausoleum at night (2007).jpg ?? This one is QI and VI. Nor you and no anyone else write about no FoP in Russia, and sculptor of Lenin's Mausoleum, Alexey Shchusev died in 1949. So, if you want to delete my image, you should do the same with all of statues of Lenin and also with Godot13's image of Lenin's Mausoleum. There should be fair rules, for everyone. yes.--Jebulon (talk) 19:56, 3 November 2013 (UTC)  Comment Ok, so first please send request for delete ( I don't know how) of this file: File:Lenin Mausoleum at night (2007).jpg. There is a Russian FOP cases/Lenin's Mausoleum. Then send a request to delete not only my image, but the whole category Statue of Lenin in Yalta. Halavar (talk) 20:23, 3 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose for the moment, until the copyright case is solved. I'll start a deletion request next week, if no solution here.--Jebulon (talk) 17:56, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
