Scope Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
International trains at Albertville train station
Used in Global usage
Reason I propose this rather rare picture taken at Albertville railway station in the French Alps, with stopped both Eurostar and Thalys international high speed trains, during the winter season. Thanks, -- Floflo (talk)

Problem is scope is about train station, but no train station hall is on it like here. Despite better IQ.--Mile (talk) 19:26, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ok PetarM, I hear it. Actually, for me a "station" does not refer only to the hall but also to platforms and tracks as here. I therefore dunno what scope would be better.. Thanks though, --Floflo (talk) 21:23, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Floflo, here are some thoughts regarding the scope: 1) Generally, the scope should be in English unless there's a good reason against it. So even though the Category is named Gare d'Albertville, it might be better to use Albertville train station. 2) You can't really see that much of the platforms or tracks; the main subject seems to be the trains (which is in line with what you wrote in the "reason="-field). So maybe something like International trains at Albertville train station or Albertville train station, international trains could work. Maybe even with a "high speed" before the "trains". --El Grafo (talk) 15:57, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi El Grafo, thank you for your help and explanations, and ok for English. Among your propositions, International trains at Albertville train station sounds quite fine to me. I have never known such a case until now, so do you know if I may change the scope on this request, or shall I propose a new one once this one is refused ? Thank you to both of you anyway, --Floflo (talk) 16:18, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Floflo, changing/refining the scope is perfectly fine and does in fact happen quite often. You can use {{VIC-scope-change|old scope|new scope|--~~~~}} to make that clear for the reviewers (see remark at the very bottom of every nomination subpage). --El Grafo (talk) 16:32, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
El Grafo, my mistake, I missed that... Thank you again. I so changed the scope. I think it is not necesary to publish a message on your talk page as I believe you receive notifications ?
Anyway, gratefulness and greetings, --Floflo (talk) 17:03, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that part was written before we had those notifications. Also, notifications are not really necessary if nobody has voted yet. --El Grafo (talk) 17:16, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Scope changed from Gare d'Albertville, international station to International trains at Albertville train station --Floflo (talk) 17:03, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
