Jeny mosque, landmark of Otoman almost 6 centuries rule with fountain dedicated to Philip II of Macedon - father of Alexander the Great. Church "Forty Martyrs of Sebaste". Population is mainly Eastern Orthodox and very religious, in turkish times town was called Monastiri - since many monasteries and churches town had. Panorama of Bitola.

Review (criteria)	Comment - A VIS of a settlement is a more complicated matter and should be considered carefully, imo. One of the obligatory components is a very good panoramic view and we have the best one of Bitola here. As for the other components we should think a little more. Firstly, I don't see the town hall (no matter small or big house). Secondly, there is some clock tower that seems to be a characteristic feature of the town centre. Maybe there isn't an airport but the railway station (again no matter small or big house) is also among the "faces" of the town. Streets and squares as well as the religious buildings are another topics. Furthermore, what about theatre or cinema hall... what about the sport grounds...so many things to consider.--MrPanyGoff 22:38, 15 March 2011 (UTC)  I withdraw my nomination I will nominate just single photo, first-one.
