Done. IMO a rather minor adaptation – since no objections were raised, went ahead and removed the line from the two preload pages that included it. FDMS 4 13:12, 11 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Change pre-fill on category creation page due to Wikidata[edit]
Interwiki links are now mostly dealt with through Wikidata. The pre-fill tekst for "People, Ships, Museums, interwiki link to English language Wikipedia" on the category creation page (example) still adds en:
to the page. This actually breaks the option of linking a new category to other language Wikipedia's through the "edit links" link in the left panel.
I propose removing the en:
from "People, Ships, Museums" and removing "interwiki link to English language Wikipedia" entirely.Vera (talk) 12:08, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- @1Veertje: Your example link does not demonstrate the 'broken' behavior...it gives a blank page to create 'Category:Example'... it's unclear what actual 'page' should be edited.Reventtalk 10:13, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
- Found it... the proposed change is apparently to these pages...

- Perhaps add a reminder to link the page at Wikidata instead? You are creating a new category description page. Interwiki links can be adjusted at :d:Link to Wikidata. ... -- Rillke(q?) 17:42, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
