  •  Support technical sound - this frame would benefit from a tighter crop e.g. 1:1 IMHO --Virtual-Pano 19:50, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose As this file is a deletion candidate, we should not promote it as QI. --Augustgeyler 00:25, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose This is a great photo, but almost for sure a copyright violation. Some of the pictures uploaded by Matinee71 are even sourced as copies from facebook --Jakubhal 07:19, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
    •  Comment On the other hand if Matinee7 will really obtain permissions for those photos (from all different authors), then they are still not works of Wikimedia Commons author. --Jakubhal 07:36, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Total: 1 support (excluding the nominator), 2 oppose → Declined   --Augustgeyler 11:36, 2 November 2020 (UTC)

  • Promotion
  •  Support Good quality. --XRay 04:54, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose really distracting branches. --Kallerna 18:10, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Comment That castle ruin has been crumbling away in the middle of the forest in no man's land for many decades. -- Johann Jaritz 04:27, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Comment Right, the branches are where they are. That's fine, but is there anything you can do to lessen the overexposure in the areas with sunlight? A lot of branches and leaves have disappeared into the whiteness. -- Ikan Kekek 08:03, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support Good image. Like in a fairy tale. -- Spurzem 08:35, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support It's a castle in a forest, it's supposed to have branches. Plus, it's enchanting. Seven Pandas 20:05, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Main object not easy to see. Details close to the sky are burned. --Augustgeyler 16:03, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support The branches give a deeper dimention to the image.--Moroder 05:26, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

File:Tree_in_Plaines_d'Abraham.jpg[edit]

  • Nomination Tree in Plaines d'AbrahamI --Wilfredor 23:53, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
  • Promotion
  •  Oppose Pretty picture but overexposed --Trougnouf 09:50, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Comment I disagree. This is not overexposure, this is a cloudy sky --Wilfredor 10:40, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Comment The sky is pure white, any cloudy sky would have some variation at least detectable by a software. I think it's a pretty result and I was giving it the benefit of the doubt because I don't do B&W so I don't usually review B&W, but I based that on the many leaves that disappear into the white sky. --Trougnouf 14:15, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Comment I'm seeing the same thing. Wilfredor, could you dial back the exposure of the sky just a bit and see if you can recover some leaves and small branches? I'd like to support. -- Ikan Kekek 08:06, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support Good quality for me. -- Johann Jaritz 05:29, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support Making the sky pure white is a valid choice in B&W photography. -- King of Hearts 23:00, 29 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support Agree with KoE, furthermore this principle may be not only limited to the sky but also to some other areas, and may also be sometimes applied to the black IMO. Christian Ferrer 15:41, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support B&W photography has it's own rules. --Smial 10:30, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
