Picture of the Year 2023 is the eighteenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons image competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons (FP) during the year 2023, to produce a single Picture of the Year.

There are two rounds of the Picture of the Year contest. In the first and current round, you may vote for as many images as you like.

To vote, you must be an established Wikimedia user with more than 75 edits before January 1, 2024. All of the images are categorized by subject and organized in topical galleries. (check eligibility)
