Optimum WikiC image resolution for current 2019 DSLRs

There was no response on these questions for 5 days and I began to see that they might not be appropriate for photography critiques. Have moved the questions over to the Village Pump/Technical.

Another Batch of Images?

I recently got some images from Brazilian Federal Highway Police Flickr stream, in which I am (again) impressed by the following two images:

  Quite good contrast in my opinion?

• @廣九直通車 To me, the first photo is interesting but not quite my taste. I feel like the light trails don't add much to the composition. The second photo looks quite ordinary with a very tight crop on the left and at the bottom - not passable. Regards, --Podzemnik (talk) 04:31, 31 July 2019 (UTC)

    • @廣九直通車 No worries at all :) Me personally got a better idea what a FP should like when I started to contribute with photos that I made myself. Also, I think a good idea is to start at COM:QIC and gradually make your way to COM:FPC. --Podzemnik (talk) 07:14, 31 July 2019 (UTC)

• @SCP-2000 It's an interesting motif and I'd say that there is a FP potential. However, my opinion is that the glass reflection and the technical quality of this particular photo don't reach FP level. Regards, --Podzemnik (talk) 04:26, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
