This chart shows the colours used on British (and derived) flags, as described in Flags of All Nations, plus extra colours which will be useful. The codes given are for printing on paper, and not on fabric.

Please keep in mind that Pantone has different standards for print and digital use.

It might help, if the computer is configured to use sRGB colour space (White=6500K), and if the monitor's brightness and contrast are correctly set.

Notes[edit]

  • Azure Blue is also referred to as "Air Force Blue".
  • The correct red for the Union Flag in the Australian flag is 185C, not 186C. • Sometimes 292C (#69B3E7) is used to approximate the effect on fabric of 549C. While Pantone 549C is darker, this is normal. (Source: Graham Bartram (5 Dec. 2003) Flags of the World: United Kingdom: Royal Air Force)
