The following is a summary of the discussion on the talk page. It is not a policy or official statement regarding the Creative Commons 3.0 licenses. The Commons community has not decided yet about the allowance or disallowance of images under this license. Images on Commons under a Creative Commons 3.0 license may or may not be deleted in the future. Until the community has spoken out about the CC 3.0, it is preferable to use the Creative Commons 2.5 licenses. We also request that you dual-license your work under the GFDL for compatibility with a larger pool of free works.
