Commons:Library back up project/download
You can download book files from Wikimedia Commons. The uploaders of the books hope they can be backed up as many as possible, so that they could last forever. You are welcomed to download the entire collection! There is no limit of downloading in Wikimedia Commons.

Right click the preview image or "original file" link below the image, and click "save link as..." and save a file to your computer.

Use petscan to get file names under a category. [Note, you need to select commons and select file in page properties tab.] You can replace bolded text in the link before as file name to get direct downloading link for the file. Then you can copy the url list to downthemall or other batch downloading tools to download all of them.
- 1、获得一个分类下的所有文件名：
- 方法一：在Special:Export中，输入分类名，点击“添加”，即可得到该分类下的所有文件名。
- 方法二：使用PetScan：Language选择Commons，在Page properties标签页的Namespaces中选中File，在Categories中输入分类名，点击“Do it!”，即可得到该分类下的所有文件名。
- 2、将以下链接的粗体部分替换为文件名，以获得文件地址。将多个这样的链接复制到DownThemAll!、迅雷或其他工具即可实现批量下载。
