Sharing source code for an SVG with JavaScript

Hi team, I just uploaded an image that I created with Inkscape; the problem is that I cannot upload the original SVG because Inkscape adds a JavaScript polyfill to render the mesh gradient, and deleting the JavaScript breaks the image. What is the best way for me to share the source code for this SVG? I could put it on GitHub but I'm not sure that's desirable. Qzekrom (talk) 03:19, 15 July 2022 (UTC)

Remove blatant ad

Can anyone remove the advertising visible on this picture? File:Dunpleister spuiten.jpg (eg. blurr or white out

This way we can use the image in the related article in the Dutch Wikipedia. Thankx SpamHunters (talk) 13:29, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

Text pages hinder image search

I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere, but I couldn't find it. I recently did an image search for depictions of the philosopher René Descartes, looking for a good likeness of him. After the first page or so of results, though, what turned up was page after page of scanned text of Descartes's writing. Shouldn't there be some means of filtering the search so scanned pages of text don't show up? Obviously, someone might want to reproduce a title page of a book, or something like it, but in that case they could disable the filter. It would make image search more effective in cases like this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RobertAldenRubin (talk • contribs) 21:06, 15 February 2022 (UTC)

Hi User:RobertAldenRubin, I have found two ways to do this:
  1. Special:Mediasearch gives the results for Images, audio, etc. under different tabs.
  2. The classic search (Special:Search) has file type as an option under "advanced search".

Hope this helps, Joofjoof (talk) 03:10, 26 July 2022 (UTC)

Request to blur or blank posters on photo of historic building - Copenhague - panoramio (57).jpg

Could someone with the appropriate skills please create a version of File:Copenhague - panoramio (57).jpg with the three movie posters blurred or blanked? Image is in use to illustrate the historic theater building, but also listed for deletion discussion due to the derivative work of the posters clearly seen. Thanks! -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 15:49, 27 July 2022 (UTC)

@Infrogmation: ✓ Done, I blurred these posters. — Pius (talk) 18:49, 31 July 2022 (UTC)
Thank you. (Well done - I think the blurring is less distracting that making them into white space.) Cheers, -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 19:55, 31 July 2022 (UTC)
