- Done Letterboxing removed. --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 03:23, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- But... the video quality looked horrible for fast frames, and it supposed to tune bit rate less than 2 Mbps (2,048 kbps). HarvettFox96 (talk) 12:38, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hmm..Yes, I see that problem now. I'll play around with ffmpeg a bit more later and see if I can get it to work correctly. --15:59, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- @HarvettFox96 and Jeff G.: I adjusted the ffmpeg settings and the two versions should now have similar bitrates. Please let me know if there are any other issues. --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 23:27, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- @AntiCompositeNumber: Thanks. Is the whitish line along the bottom of the frame present in the original? — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 23:39, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Jeff G.: I don't see a white line on the edited or original version. Are you using the MediaWiki video player or your browser's video player? If so, what browser? --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 23:43, 12 February 2019 (UTC)
- @AntiCompositeNumber: VP9 360P encoding in MediaWiki video player, fullscreen on Puffin Browser Pro (v4.7.3) on iOS. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 00:02, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Jeff G.: I can reproduce the issue on Puffin but not on my desktop. It appears to be an artifact of either the MW video player or Puffin and not part of the video itself. --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 00:11, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
- @AntiCompositeNumber: The bar is not present in VP9 480P on MediaWiki player, fullscreen (or any version or transcode) on Google Chrome (v71.0.3578.98) on Windows. FYI, Puffin Browser on Windows has gone commercial. — Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me 00:35, 13 February 2019 (UTC)

Two cats hugging flash removal
- Request
- This was an aww live photo taken on an iPhone with the flash. I would like to exposure to be adjusted to make the flash less noticeable. Hopefully, this is fun quick project. Also, the way the preview plays and jumps back to the beginning and looks wrong but the original is fine except for the blur at the end which can be trimmed and stabilization. --Technophant (talk) 06:56, 16 March 2019 (UTC)

Video of Trump motorcade
At the Help Desk User:Syced requested that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7-C93FTWDM be uploaded to Commons. It has a CC-BY license, so that should be OK; it presumably needs a change of video format, which is beyond me to help him with. Can someone take this on?
(Not for a Wikipedia article; generic Commons request.) - Jmabel ! talk 02:03, 28 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Jmabel: You can use COM:V2C to do that --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 03:23, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

What free online program to convert MOV to OGG
I used an online converter and got this compressed stuttering mess: thumb What should I have used? RAN (talk) 20:51, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ): The best tool to use to convert and upload video is toollabs:video2commons. An important thing to note is that you can't use it to upload over an existing file. --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 03:17, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks I will delete the old one. Wow! It did an amazing job. RAN (talk) 05:22, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
