- Info Multi-coloured Saint Andrew's cross spider (Argiope versicolor) female on her web, adult vs juvenile, ventral vs dorsal view. The adult specimen measures 9 mm (0.35 in), the juvenile specimen measures 4.5 mm (0.18 in). A web decoration called stabilimentum, conspicuous silk structure included in the web, typical of the genus Argiope, can be seen at the pictures 1, 2, 3. - Oppose Not a set as they are not taken at the same time of the same spiders. The pairs are described as being the same size, but the images are not to scale. Focus on body missed - especially juvenile dorsal. Alos, juveniles usually make a discoid-shaped web rather than the adult's cross, so the example shown could be a sub-adult, not, strictly-speaking, a juvenile.
