The crop could be more radical imo - a bit too much concrete on the right side. Oppose QI but no wow. The sweep of the handrail has potential but it doesn't stand out, being the same colour as the empty road, which dominates the right hand side. The flower boxes are all empty -- how much better this would be if they were full of colourful flowers. The pedestrian on the bridge looks glum, carrying her shopping bag. The road and boats all point towards a subject, which is good, but it is just a streetlamp, which isn't switched on. So the eye isn't rewarded. It is a lovely day, but the scene isn't really making me want to be there. If only we had an attractive couple walking towards the camera, with a riot of flowers in the boxes, and some attractive lighting... -- Colin (talk) 08:09, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
