"Vialais" bridge and stream
a version a bit warmer have been uploaded. Christian Ferrer (talk) 06:02, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Oppose on technical quality. There is some posterization and noise in the water at the bottom, which should be fixable with reprocessing. However, I see patches of light grey on the rocks in various places (annotated), which is usually a sign that the whites have been overexposed and forcibly pulled back despite there being no detail to recover. -- King of ♥ 03:21, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I don't known from what it comes from but I'm unable to see the notes. But in all cases if there are issues, they likely comes from my bad habit of "too much (and often poor) processing", because I just checked the raw file, there is not a single area overexposed neither underexposed. I'm going to send you a mail via Commons, if either you reply I will have your address and I will send you the RAW file, and you will see by yourself. The notes are on the nomination, not the image. -- King of ♥ 04:40, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I understood, I don't know what is this bug but since a while I'm unable to see notes, weither on files (I'm even unable to use the tool to write notes on files) or here. Christian Ferrer (talk) 05:31, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Note that if someone else want the RAW file, I can send to them a link to WeTransfer in order to upload it. Christian Ferrer (talk) 05:37, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose I think KoH is right: some of the rocks do look burned. Buidhe (talk) 03:40, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Weak support I agree with KoH about the burns, and the background just above the bridge leaves something to be desired. But on the whole I like the rusticity of this image, and those aren't enough to ruin it (and remember it is a long exposure). Daniel Case (talk) 06:05, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Weak oppose it looks to me like the contrasts have been pushed a bit too far, and the end result is too harsh imo. Not all of the dynamic range has to be used everywhere all the time; I think it would be more relaxing to look at if the different elements faded together a bit instead of the constant piecewise separation through jumps between bright and darkness. --Trougnouf (talk) 10:49, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  I withdraw my nomination ok fine, my processing is very likely not adequate. Thanks you all of you for all your comments. I will rework on it, and for those who are interested the RAW file is available on WeTransfert, and I can provide the link on demand. Christian Ferrer (talk) 10:57, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
