Ice sculpture in Quebec city downtown
Comment I always ask permission in my photographs, however, on this occasion the sculptor asked me not to go near to explain anything and that I could take the photo. These are in a public place and are activities funded by the Government of Canada. In my interpretation of the Canadian law of freedom of panorama, sculptures made of ice have a strictly limited and fairly short lifespan before disappearing. Ice sculptures can be "permanent" if the intention was to leave the work in the public place indefinitely or at least for the entire natural life of the work.
