  • User:JJ Harrison, if you'd like to address Charles' objections, please go ahead. Charles, I have to respect your expertise in shooting birds. I agree that the photo could be improved if the highlights are reduced somewhat, though I hadn't thought about it because I was busy being impressed, but I don't know how anyone could lose a mostly black and partly white bird in a bright blue background. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:56, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Works for me, so I don't really get it, but I imagine you feel like a darker blue sky would provide a better background, and therefore, this isn't as good as this type of photo could be.
