•  Info It's a detail. The detail of a whale with wavy shapes is opposite the round window, the rather monotonous gray is opposite the colorful window, the sharp whale is opposite the blurred window. • Thanks for your assessment and good description of your motivations. It is helpful like that. When I took the shot, it was important to me that the foreground be sharp and the window have the appropriate degree of blur. This conditions that the slightly more distant part of the whale already shows a slight blur, but without being really noticeable in the overall impression. --XRay 💬 05:53, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
