- Oppose We have sharper, more detailed featured pictures of the moon, though not of this crescent phase. There is some colour noise. As a picture of the moon on its own I don't think it reaches FP compared to existing images. As an aside, by coincidence I took my own picture of the moon a couple of days ago File:Waxing Crescent Moon 2017-02-01 UK.jpg. The size of the moon is identical, which suggests this is also taken with a 500mm lens on a crop camera. Also, if you rotate this image 60° anticlockwise, it closely matches mine (except this one is a little fuller). Which shows we all see the same moon, but from different angles depending on where we are on earth! -- Colin (talk) 08:08, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
