  • I know you're not the only photographer here who objects to certain shapes of picture frames per se, but I really don't really understand why. A square is just a shape. The important things are the content and how the elements relate to each other compositionally. But that said, if you crop just to the right of the branch, it won't be a square but will still be wider (l-r) than it is long/tall (top-bottom). In the current version, I will again  Oppose because the branch distracts me from the bird, and I care about that, not the shape of the picture frame. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:06, 26 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
