Water pipes of the Walchensee Hydroelectric Power Station, in operation since 1924 and is located in Kochel, Bavaria (Germany). It was designed and developed by Oskar von Miller (1855-1934) and uses the height difference of about 200 m between the higher lake (Walchensee) and the lower lake (Kochelsee) to operate. The water flows with a maximum throughput of 84m3/s through 6 pipes down to the Kochelsee, where the power station is located.
