- Info Water pipes of the Walchensee Hydroelectric Power Station, in operation since 1924 and is located in Kochel, Bavaria (Germany). It was designed and developed by Oskar von Miller (1855-1934) and uses the height difference of about 200 m between the higher lake (Walchensee) and the lower lake (Kochelsee) to operate. The water flows with a maximum throughput of 84m3/s through 6 pipes down to the Kochelsee, where the power station is located. All by me, Poco2 22:06, 19 January 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose Very good composition, however the light/sky and the lack of sharpness at the top left and right don't play in favor of my support :). -- ChristianFerrer 18:42, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose Per Christian; might be a striking image under different circumstances. Daniel Case (talk) 20:09, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
- Support I liked it as it is, lighting seems appropriate for an engineering structure. They look really good and the composition surprised me, just for the aged appearance of the atmosphere and facilities, is very convincing and harmonious IMO. -- Lauro Sirgadocontribs 23:02, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose 1. Poor focus, background structure is unsharp (better to leave the foreground slightly unsharp IMHO). 2. the disturbing foreground wires across (I don’t mean the line along the pipes). Lack of composition. 3. The dull light and overcast sky are not favourable too. --Kreuzschnabel 19:58, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
