SHORT DESCRIPTION
  • Don't you need a completely different focus (way outside the normal focus stacking interval and possibly a different lens) to get the droplet images sharp too? For most droplet images, it's either focus on the flower or on the droplet image, rarely both. --Cart (talk) 11:46, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think similar things are possible in most stacking programs, but to do it you will still need the image material to do so. When stacking a flower, one might not always chose to have the droplet images sharp too. In this case, I think it would draw the attention from the flower bud and to the droplets instead. Also, to get good in-drop images, you need round drops, these are elongated and will naturally distort any image in them. --Cart (talk) 14:09, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for the responses. I don't quite understand all the comments. But that's probably just me. I stacked the photos with "Helicon Focus" and edited them in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. It went to me on the broken flower bud. I only noticed that the drops would become so large during the development. In a few drops see some of the environment. Do I need to change something about the photo or should I withdraw the photo? PS. My response is a bit late. I was not online before today.--Famberhorst (talk) 15:46, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Famberhorst, you don't need to do anything. :-) Charles and I are simply discussing photo aesthetics. He wants everything perfectly sharp, including what is seen inside the water drops, while I don't think it would contribute to the photo. To me, it is a beautiful photo as it is. Please keep the nomination open and let voter decide. --Cart (talk) 16:46, 29 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
