- Comment Yes, it's really big, but I don't like the right crop, and to prove it's possible to have a more comprehensive view from left to right, I present the Wikivoyage banner for Sorano. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:23, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
- Comment I have chosen my viewpoint on a steep cliff with trees to the south obstructing the view to the right or southernmost part of Sorano for two reason.
1) it enables me to include the cliff Sorano is nesting on
2) it places the viewer on eye level with the fortified part of the town.
This is vital to get a better feeling of the unusual setup of Sorano and Pitigliano imho.
The banner you are referring to was taken from further south and down from the valley. The cliff Sorano is sitting on can not be seen from there.
The partly obstructed, but complete view has been uploaded as well for reference. My preference is the cropped 3:1 over the complete but tree obstructed 4:1 view though. --Virtual-Pano (talk) 07:13, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

- Support the high resolution is a welcome bonus, but what I find most impressive is that it also works very well as a whole image. So many wide aspect ratio composites are incredibly boring unless you zoom in or print them at wall size. This one not only has a composition to speak of, it's a very pleasing one to my eyes. --El Grafo (talk) 11:38, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
