Context

Collaboration with the Arte Diez School of Art is part of an initiative to involve art & design schools in the Wikimedia Movement's projects and goals.

Introduction

The collaboration with Arte Diez School of Art in Madrid (Spain) started in the 2013-14 Academic Year. Wikimedia Spain contacted the Gráfica Liebre collective and they provided contact with the school; they then both conducted a talk in December 2013 and a workshop on 17 March 2014, in which students were familiarized with the wikiArS initiative and Free Libre Open Source Software.

The Arte Diez School of Art was founded in 1907 and is a public school under the auspices of the government of the Community of Madrid.
