But may be there other way exists of working with categories for statistics (?) purposes instead of creating temporary categories? --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Eugene, good question. The purpose of the categories is not statistics-related but having a place for categorizing every new picture. That way, no further (re-)categorization would be needed. I raised the question in the Village Pump and didn't got any opposition (see here). On the other hand, it's worthy to mention some additional issues: the bot won't only create new categories (it will mainly categorize existing ones (even if no new categories were created; the information has been already gathered and is available here); after creation, I'll carry out manual categorization of existing images in order to assign them a correct SCI-related category (that is, I'll do my best for filling categories as soon as possible); finally WLE-SpainBot will work also (and in a coordinated way) in wikidata in order to correctly link commons categories with wikidata items. Hope it clarifies the request a little bit. Best regards --Discasto talk | contr. | es.wiki analysis 18:01, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for explanations! Looks OK for me. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:18, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If there are no objections, I think bot status should be granted. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:24, 14 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
