Discussion
  • Hi, I'm not sure what the intention is. Could you please elaborate a bit more? Reading the tickets, my first impression would be that the same can be achieve with a template redirect. --Schlurcher (talk) 12:02, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
After the migration from OTRS to Znuny LTS, which happend at 13 April 2021, we no longer use OTRS. The WMF legal department advises to remove all mentions of the term "OTRS" that could be considered as creating the impression we are still using OTRS. Up to consensus of the migration project team, this also applies to the template name used in file pages, so the request is to rename the templates (e.g. Template:PermissionOTRS to Template:PermissionTicket) and replace all current transclusions accordingly. (But it e.g. does not apply to mentions in discussion archives.) --Krd 18:29, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If the WMF legal department advises to replace all uses of the template, then I guess this need to be done. Otherwise, this seems to be a fairly straight forward request. --Schlurcher (talk) 07:22, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If there are no objections, I think bot status should be granted. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 16:16, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
