Discussion

You really need a bot only for replacing license templates? Maybe you like to file a request on COM:BWR. (And before you do a run, pleas simulate the run to avoid errors.) --Steinsplitter (talk) 17:29, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I did run a bunch manually, but the Hartmann Linge ones were buried in the middle of the list, so I didn't see them. The new find and replace parameters are tighter though, and won't have the same issue. As for your concern about tasks, I don't see why it makes any difference at all how often I need to run the bot; there is no minimum level of activity requirement. I don't really see the point in making a request and waiting for someone else to do a task that I am capable of doing on my own. Sven Manguard Wha? 18:10, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Me too. :)
The advantage of YaCBot is that it not only does a whole bunch com:regex-fixes but also a lot non-regex cleanups like category cleanup. However, some of the edits are only cosmetic and the Bot will skip all files which would result in an cosmetic-only edit to the wikitext. So it is actually good not to fix i18n and wait for YaCBot to do a complete cleanup. --McZusatz (talk) 11:09, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
