Discussion

First batch of test uploads was completed before I realised that the account never got bot permission. Bot flag is primarily needed to move the earlier uploads due to a changed naming scheme. /Lokal_Profil 22:02, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure, it'll be trivial for those images, but will be good idea to use language templates, especially for medium field. Please also use more descriptive edit summaries. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 14:48, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

The page moving/renaming entails about 200 images (which will also get new page descriptions). With initial uploads I'm referring to all of the currently uploaded ones. Sorry if this was unclear above. The edit summaries aren't very descriptive since they are essentially uploads. If preferred I could simply use the default which is an abbreviation of the first page content. I figured that actually pointing to the upload project should be more useful.

The medium field uses the {{Technique}} whenever there is a keyword match. Other comments regarding the information pages are better kept at the batch_upload page I believe. /Lokal_Profil 17:53, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

Any opposition to the bot flag for moving the images. Asking since this is what is stopping me from updating the information on those images. Also this should be a one-off (filenames will remain unchanged afterwards). /Lokal_Profil 21:57, 24 August 2013 (UTC)

I'll actually withdraw the request for bot flag for this account. The file moves were dealt with in a different way and the description pages updated. THe server-side upload will not require a flag and afterwards the account will be transferred to the GLAM institution so that they can use the same account for additional uploads of materials as the digitisation of their collections continues. As this would/should require a new request for bot-status I see no point in doing so now. /Lokal_Profil 10:43, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
