Example contributions: deletions will look like this
Bot's tasks for which permission is being sought: deleting duplicate charts that it has uploaded (because the ABS changed the name of their fields). The more recent versions received a new filename, even though each one is the same data series as their pair (identified according to the 9 letter code at the end of each filename). In each case the newer filename will be preserved. After this deletion run it will check before uploading this kind of duplicate, and will either rename the file, or upload at the old location.
Automatic or manually assisted: Automatic during the run, after a manual setup and supervised start
Edit type (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): one time run
Maximum edit rate (eg edits per minute): pywikipedia default.
Bot flag requested: (Y/N): already has bot status, but would need admin status (or I can use it in my own account if that's preferred)
Programming language(s): Mediawiki-API combined with pywikipediabot

- A one time deletion (~2500 files). In future I will avoid this by either file-renames, or preserving the old location. --99of9 (talk) 21:32, 15 November 2012 (UTC)
- Mass deletion can be done with a stock pywikipediabot script, right? If you are careful with the input list of page names this should be a pretty standard job. I would opt for using your regular user account for the simple reason that we can give but not remove the admin flag and I'm not sure a bot should have this flag permanently. Ok, thanks for the feedback, I'll just run it from my own account. Yes it is a stock pywikipediabot script, and I have made the input list (one half of User:99of9/ABS_deletions) carefully, so I doubt there'll be any problem.
