Discussion

Sorry for requesting a second task so soon after the first one, but this is a very necessary task for Wiki Loves Love and I would like to not have to run this manually. Chico Venancio (talk) 20:20, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think this can be speedy approved, but please make some test edits. --Krd 09:21, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
We have 5 edits done now. I've set it to run once hourly for the current day and once daily for the day before, it will probably make less edits than 25 because it will only save if there is something to update. Krd, please advise if I should stop the edits. Thanks for the quick response. Chico Venancio (talk) 12:20, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I think will be good idea to use time-based page names. See User:OgreBot/Uploads by new users as example. Will be good idea to with Magog the Ogre to implement update functionality. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 15:07, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
EugeneZelenko I don't think there is any benefit for us in using separate time-based pages. While there are team members responsible for files for each day, there are not time-based shifts. Chico Venancio (talk) 13:03, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Approved. --Krd 12:32, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
